The Coaching Center: Privacy Policy 

We take your privacy seriously. Please read the following to learn more about our privacy policy. 

What This Privacy Policy Covers 

This policy covers how the Coaching Center and its partnering ministries treat personal information that Coaching Center receives from individual users. "Personal information" refers to identifiable data such as your name, address, email address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available. 

Information Collection and Use


  • Coaching Center collects personal information when you register with Coaching Center, to get information about the partnering ministries of your choice. 
  • When you register with the Coaching Center, we ask for information such as your name, email address, address, zip code, and the school you are attending or desire to minister on. This information helps us serve you better 
  • Coaching Center stores your information in a database. 
  • Coaching Center uses information for the following purposes: to track who has requested information and to direct your information to the appropriate contact that you have requested information from. 

Information Sharing and Disclosure 

  • You have the option to network with others by releasing your name and email only. This release will enable you to connect with other ministries in your local school or area. 
  • Coaching Center does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or nonaffiliated ministries except to provide products or services you've requested. 
  • The Coaching Center may give out the information you provide to us in 2 ways: 
    • Your information will be given to the ministry you have requested. 
    • Your information will be given out to ministry leaders in your local area who may be able to assist you in reaching your campus. 
  • These ministries do not have any independent right to share this information. 
  • We do share general information about the number of those who have registered and what ministries were requested. This information will be shared with partnering ministries, the Campus Challenge members, donors and other interested parties for the purpose of evaluation and future development of the Coaching Center site. 
  • You may be contacted by the ministries you requested for the purpose of helping you get involved with a campus ministry. 
  • Coaching Center may use the information you provide to contact you for the purpose of receiving voluntary feedback so that we can improve our service.
  • We want to come alongside people who want to grow stronger in their walk with God and learn how they can make a difference for Christ among their friends and even their whole school or community. We educate, train, and resource people on an ongoing basis so they can begin or further develop a ministry to their local school.


It is the policy of The Coaching Center to send our members only the types of email they want to receive. In addition, the Coaching Center, and periodically team up to send e-mails to verify membersí e-mail, current school(s) associated with, and ministry. Further, upon request, it is our policy to remove members from our mailing list to which they have subscribed upon request. Members who have adopted or associated themselves with schools will continue to receive emails verifying their school & ministry information. In order to keep the most current information possible, we ask members to verify this information 3 to 4 times a year. Members may update or change their school associations or remove them altogether. 


Our site uses cookies to keep track of your current visit. This is used to verify your session as you request more information or interact with the school database. 

A cookie is a small data file that certain Web sites write to your hard drive when you visit them. A cookie file can contain information such as a user ID that the site uses to track the pages you've visited. But the only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself. A cookie can't read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites. You can refuse cookies by turning them off in your browser. 


We limit access to personal information about you to ministry representatives who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information. 

Security for Donations

Our web sites employ security measures to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. When you make donations or reveal sensitive information, we use a secure server to protect the security of your online transactions. Your information is transmitted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), the industry standard for sending encrypted information. Furthermore, all of the customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access.

If you choose to receive email or mail from The Coaching Center, but later decide that you no longer want to, we provide clear instructions on how to remove your name.


This site contains links to other Web sites. The Coaching Center is not responsible for either the privacy practices or the content of these sites. 


By using The Coaching Center Web sites, you consent to our collection and use of the personal information you provide. Please note that if at any time The Coaching Center is required by law or a legal process to release individual or organizational information, we must cooperate fully.

If our privacy policy changes, we will post any changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it.
